Nicki Rose has lived through repeated trauma, loss, addiction and extraordinary physical illness, yet again and again the blame seemed to land back on her. She was called a liar, volatile, unworthy, a mess and the problem.Her altered portrait layers those judgements across her image before placing the words “YOU DESERVED IT” over everything she had already been made to carry.
