Bonnie Blue became a provocative figure in conversations about sex work, female sexuality and the limits of what society considers acceptable behaviour from women.

The criticism directed at her became part of the starting point for Villains: an exploration of what happens when a woman's sexuality becomes grounds for reducing her entire identity to a single word.

Slut.
